Artist Profile

A Wisconsin native, Ron grew up in the outskirts of Green Bay Wisconsin, where woods and water were a very short
distance away. Even as a young child, he spent much of his free time out in the woods and along the winding creek near
his house. In 1974, he bought his first camera and began a quest to capture the beauty of nature on film. Since then,
computer graphic techniques have also been used to enhance artistic expression.

A lover of art and nature since he can remember, Ron strives to portray the emotional content of the land, the water,
and the weather. From early morning sunrises and tranquil evenings to formidable storms and biting cold ice, a wide
variety of moods and viewpoints mark his style.

For over 30 years, Ron has been photographing scenics and nature. Hundreds of trips were made in all types of weather
to get some of the best scenic and artistic representations of the areas traveled. Some of his work is displayed in art
shows and in local art galleries. As an avid lover of art, he prizes good artwork and photography. His work portrays
natural settings from many places spanning the continental United States, Canada, and Alaska.
