In 1994, after 20 years of taking scenic nature photos and wanting to share them, I wanted to come up with a fitting name. Impressions of Nature, Natural expressions, Photo impressons, and other similar names were often used and I wanted something unique. Since my goal was to impress an idyllic viewpoint to the eye, it didn't take long to come up with this fitting title. The road has been long and hard, but the work has finally come to fruition. For 7 years, my vacations were all about finding the idyllic spots, whether National Parks, State Parks, roadside pictures in the middle of nowhere, or in my back yard. My brother called me a "Ninja Photographer", because I would come home after a two week vacation with one to two thousand photos of the places I visited. This included waking up at 4:00 to 5:00 AM to catch the early morning light and ending after sunset with blood-shot eyes, only to do the same morning after morning. I loved it though, and it was worth all the effort to enjoy those wonderful places. Ok, I'm crazy, but I hope you enjoy all the beautiful scenery found on the CDs! |
